Print out the syllabus and schedule so you know how you will be graded and when things are due.
Skim the appropriate chapter in the book.
Look at the quiz for the week. (Less than a week for B12.) (Print it out if you want. They are not timed and do not change. They do have due dates however.)
Print out the lecture notes (They are the first slide for each chapter under lectures.)
Go over the lectures on the computer filling out any empty sections or adding your own ideas to the paper version as you go. Look for information that might be helpful in answering quiz questions.
Do the assigned homework. Remember your study guide has homework questions and some solved problems.
Under "discussions" you will see a question for the chapter with an answer. You will find this question is similar to question 11 on the quiz. Read the question and see if you get the correct answer. Read any hints or join the discussion to help your colleagues with the answer. Remember, it IS cheating to post the answers to quiz questions but it IS NOT cheating to help or get help on discussion questions. You can also use the discussion forum to give or get help on other homework questions too. If you can not see all the discussion postings, try clicking on the triangle pointing to the right so that it points down. You should then be able to see all the replies.
